My 9 yr. old daughter saw my sketch of Mr. Pickles laying on the desk and she decided it needed to be more “life-like”. So here’s her meow-sterpiece! *Ouch* lame joke alert.

Stupid freakin’ resolutions.

My New Year resolutions.

1. Loose weight.

2. Loose my temper with my kids less. (This is the hardest one.)

3. Loose all of my stored up, well held onto anger.

I know this won’t be easy. I love Taco Bell, but no more fast-food ever. I won’t stop with the kids or my husband. Loosing my temper with the children is easy, God knows they try me. It’s insane one of them will cuddle up to me for a hug, but turn right around and do something that she KNOWS will make me yell. I think my anger is my best friend. I spent of all yesterday saying goodbye to it. In the long run this resolution will be the hardest. Doing and being that goes against my anger. It’s so much easier to say ‘You know what, this person screwed me like this and that group of people hurt me like that, and now I’ll just stay in apartment watching Law and Order instead of living.’ I hate the way I look (I’m 10 sizes bigger than I was 4 years ago.) but every time my family disapoints me or angers me I reach for a snack. I think I’ll just go for a walk instead.

This is Shelly the cat, she has dermatitis but you can’t tell from this drawing. I did this from a model, not a picture. That’s why it’s half done… she um, ran away. Also unlike Mr. Pickles, Shelly doesn’t sit still for long periods of time. I think it’s the dermatitis, she’s always licking.
